Reach out to your hospitals ICU manager for shadow day, talk to them if you like it still after shadowing, and you ll get hired.

Find the ICU you want to work in, find the manager’s info, reach out to them briefly every 2 weeks - “hi, it’s me, still very interested in any ICU transition positions available, here are any recent trainings I’ve done to make me a better candidate, & do you have any suggestions on how I could make myself a better candidate?” Keep this up for months & they will think of you when there is an opening. They will also respect your tenacity & persistence, so long as you do this quickly/pleasantly but continually.
