Is it a good idea to take a day flex or night flex position at a hospital for a new grad RN?

In my opinion, a new grad is still a certified RN. With good orientation and mentoring, a new grad can function fully with flex position., Having a well fledge experience RN beside her, I believe any questions or help should be given to her. Also, due to family needs for a new grad, they must be given the opportunities to work any shift plus flex to close the shortage gap. They don't need to be swallow them alive like some nurses do.
