Do travel nurses get paid more for working in certain regions of the United States?

One could argue. Northeast is paying more than southeast but some facilities in Atlanta paying well. California pays more than anyone out west. Midwest and plains are comparable. Northwest or at least Oregon has some great rates. Alaska seems better than Hawaii. I guess population plays a major role and that coincides with the number of facilities in the area and the competition that it incurs.
