How to ask for a raise? I am a new grad and just hit my 6 month mark. I heard another new grads starting pay is a few dollars more than mine and I was wondering how to go about asking for a raise or if i should even do that? Thanks! -Gabby

In my opinion you definitely should ask. I had heard that new nurses were getting bonuses when they signed on that I didn’t get. I went to the payroll office and asked why I didn’t get it and they gave it to me. Also, I’m about to hit my 6 month mark where I now work and I’ll be getting a 5% raise. It can’t hurt to ask and advocate for yourself.
