What are the most commonly used cardiac gtts and their titrating ranges?
Amiodorone , initial dose 150 mg loading dose ;
1mg x 6 hrs ; 0.5 mg x 18 hrs.
The answer is very long and I’d have to look them all up. I would say many drips have different ranges for different things. You might be able to find a list via Google. Additionally physician preference is key
However these are the drips I personally mostly used in the cardiac stepdown unit and cardiac recovery CTICU, I did retire 6 years ago
Nitroglycerin
Amiodarone
Dopamine
Dobutamine
Neosynephrine
Epinephrine
Levophed
Milrinone
Ask the Rn’s working the floor what the cardiologist and intensive care docs prefer to use. Learn them drips.
