Yes! Dillard University!
Delgado/ Charity has an associate degree program. Ochsner has Chamberlain SON program.
I graduated from Charity Nursing School in New Orleans is was an Lpn for 17 years prior. However, that didn’t make me a better student. I was stuck in my old way of learning and I struggled with the book concepts. I graduated at 41 years old, the clinical part was easy for me. I will say that the teachers at Charity was great with their knowledge base. They were helpful and every nurse who left the school I kept in touch with are doing great in their jobs. The ones who were Lpn’s and the nurses with no experience. Charity is a good school and the teachers are some Charity graduates and some are nurses that are still working at hospitals. When I walked in the hospital in New Orleans to do my clinical with my classmates we were greeted with open arms. They called us the cream of the crop. It felt good to know I was in that number.
Charity School of Nursing (through Delgado) is a very good program. Also, LSU’s nursing school is in New Orleans & very good.
