For those who specialize in pediatrics - did you choose it because you love children or just because you prefer it to other areas?

I love children and have always worked with children, nannying, babysitting, and a teacher in early learning center!

I started babysitting when I was 11 and loved my little charges. When time came to look for a nursing job, I was able to find a job in Pediatrics with no problem. I loved it!!
My career journey has taken many paths, but I am ending my career as an independent Childcare Nurse Consultant and a Health Consultant with Head Start. I am glad I chose Pediatric Nursing.
