Hospitals collect resumes and respond to the most likely candidates when they have a suitable opening. Remember to re-apply every 3 months as institutions do not keep resumes very long. In nursing, your first professional job offers often follow the old Army adage of "Hurry up and wait." You will hear, but you are competing with all the other new grads this summer who have also just received their licenses. Keep applying, keep looking. You will find a position, but it may take a while.
