How do you get a job at a hospital or anywhere after starting at an ambulatory surgery center? I started outpatient surgery centers after graduating. I quit recently after a year and I’m struggling to find anything.

You may have to relocate to another state. Try putting some feelers out to surrounding states. You may get lucky.

What are your credentials? Are you an RN, a CST? Are you able to relocate?

Keep trying and believing. Med/Surg units are the entry to the hospital. There’s always openings on the M/S for nurses. My granddaughter just graduated with her BSN and got hired as M/S nurse. She wanted Nursery/Pedi/NICU areas. I’m retired after 44 years RN and this is the advice I gave to my granddaughter. Blessings
