You need to look at the requirements for this position. It may vary from state to state. Once you know the criteria, start taking Continuing Education on this specialty and see if you can shadow UR nurses at your facility.

Doing this demonstrates you are serious about your desire to transition into this field. the more you know and prepare yourself the better candidate you will be.
