I am going to be going through my CNA course to get recertification as a CNA before going into my ADN classes. Are there CNA jobs in psychiatric units where I can get some experience before deciding if that's the path I want to take my nursing career

Yes, they work as behavioral health techs! I know some AMAZING ones, and you should DEFINITELY try it and decide if it’s a population you can serve.
