Connect with a good Social Worker or community Outreach staff. The will lead you in the right direction.
Also…remember Google is your best friend. Search for what you need in the city you need it in; eg: “Utility assistance Denver”.
Most States have multiple programs for low income patients. A SW or a Case Manager will usually be able to address this and help the patients
Let's say you don't have a social worker (SW). Start by building your resource list by calling 211 or googling 211 and your state. From there go to your specific county or the county you need. The other thing I do is connect with folks who work at the clinics, health department, that serve the underserved. I introduce myself and let them know I would like to network to serve my patients/clients better. I have always found a community of like-minded individuals who know something I don't. I wish you well in building your resource list and network.
