I'm a 10 year nurse who when I graduated went to nursing homes because as a CNA I saw so many nurses that didn't care. I then have been a hospice nurse for 8 years. Is there anyway to get into a hospital as a older nurse?

Yes! Your experience as a hospice nurse brings a lot to the table when switching modalities! You have the knowledge and a skill set just not the hospital skill set so basically you would be looked at as a new grad and your orientation upon getting a hospital job would be that of a new grad…
You definitely have a good chance…also look for new grad programs and make sure your resume has as many skills as possible

Look at small community hospitals. They are usually more willing to train and usually, they really need RNs and will be happy to find a place you will fit, most likely Med/Surg. Our small community hospital employed many with different paths in nursing than acute care. Try that!
