How can I get better at remembering the names of surgical instruments?

Go work in the Central Sterile department. No better way that building the sets from the count sheets. This will bring you closer to the SPD techs and also understanding their job. I include this in all my new OR nurse training programs as part of their PERIOP 101 before they learn to scrub.
