Did you look into internships offered for new grad students at local hospitals? Many of them offer an internship if within the first year of graduating. Some will depend on which level of education you acquired and if you plan on pursuing a higher level of degree.
Many deciding factors can also include what kind of nursing you have interest in. Many schools assist in classes prior to graduation to help build a resume and cover letter for practice interviews. Your school may have done this or not, but first starting out it can be helpful to list the areas of study you participated in amd number of hours completed in that clinical rotation with a general "looking for a job as a nurse to....." fill in the rest tailored to mission and vision that can be changed if looking for specific skill sets with each job you apply for.
