Description
Hospitals on Incredible Health are actively hiring and accepting applications in the High Point, NC area for the following position: Registered Nurse - Mother Baby. Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Assist in c-sections, Delivery, Fetal NST, Midwife, Nursery care, or On-call availability.

Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
- 1+ year experience in a mother-baby, postpartum, or labor and delivery setting preferred
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications from the American Heart Association
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on empathetic patient and family-centered care
- Proficiency in electronic medical record systems
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns during the postpartum period, monitoring both patients for signs of complications
- Administer medications as prescribed and perform routine assessments of both maternal and newborn vital signs
- Provide emotional support and education to new mothers, focusing on: safe, effective infant care, breastfeeding, and self-care post-delivery, while empowering them to care for themselves and their newborns
- Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated and holistic care during and after hospital stay
- Accurately document maternal and newborn assessments, interventions, and outcomes in line with hospital policies and procedures
