- Go to the Ohio Board of Nursing to enter your renewal application
Visit the Renewal Information page for specific requirements. Also, Ohio will become a compact state on January 1, 2023. This means that, as of 2023, if your Primary State of Residency is in another compact state you will not need to apply for licensure in Ohio unless you are declaring Ohio as your Primary State of Residency.
