In this course, we will outline and explore the most common or serious disparities in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), address ways in which healthcare delivery needs to be adjusted, and start the conversations needed to create a new generation of healthcare that will close these gaps. By the end of this course, you will understand the gaps in quality and availability of healthcare that affect characteristics such as race, gender, age, sexual orientation, or disability.
This course has been approved by the Nevada State Board of Nursing and fulfills the cultural competence and diversity, equity, and inclusion requirement for license renewal.
